The floating residency = research & creation

Artists invited to take part in the research and creation residency at the Maison Flottante are included in the cneai exhibition and events program in Île-de-France and organize specific events in Poses, in collaboration with local partners. They work on their personal projects and are invited to organize a public event—a conference, performance, workshop opening, or other event depending on the artist—planned in advance of the residency and eligible for specific remuneration.

The Arts & Crafts & Design Residency

La Maison Flottante, a flat-bottomed boat created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, is a space dedicated to exploration and artistic creation located in an exceptional natural environment, in the heart of a region focused on arts and crafts. It offers an ideal setting for reflection and creation.
During this residency, the designer and/or artisan will benefit from time for research and creation in a rural area that encourages reflection and local exchanges. The cneai = team offers tailor-made support before and after the residency: theoretical and critical input, professionalization, networking, etc.
