The Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, in partnership with cneai =, invites you to a discussion on artist residencies and the arts and crafts.
cneai =, an art center dedicated to research, production, residencies, and the promotion of contemporary art, notably features the Maison Flottante, a studio moored in Poses, Normandy.
This iconic structure, conceived by architects Denis Daversin and Jean-Marie Finot in collaboration with designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, is a 114-square-meter houseboat designed as a space for exploration, creation, and artistic residency. Located in a region with deep roots in the arts and crafts, the Maison Flottante hosts artists who are either invited or selected through open calls, in connection with the social and entrepreneurial fabric of the Seine-Eure metropolitan area. The cneai supports residents in their research, creation, and dissemination projects.

It is in this context that we invite you to explore the contrasting perspectives of Iris Delcourt, a textile designer in residence in June 2026, and Agathe Bejerano-Calderon, a luthier and former resident who is now based at the Fabrique des Métiers d’Art in Le Vaudreuil.
