Beer brewing workshops and gatherings related to Simon Nicaise’s Tour de France project
Simon Nicaise’s Tour de France project unfolds from city to city and profession to profession, aiming to broaden the spectrum of his practice, especially by engaging with artisans holding specific techniques previously unfamiliar to the artist.
During his residency at cneai = for a stage of his Tour de France in Seine-Saint-Denis, Simon Nicaise designed an exploratory vehicle serving as a research tool, meeting place, learning hub, production workshop, bar, and exhibition space. Throughout this stage in Seine-Saint-Denis, he learned from artisans and associations various techniques that enrich his practice, notably from Jacques-Olivier Dasini at Brasserie du Grand Paris (Saint-Denis) and Robin Bourgeois at Atelier None (Aubervilliers).
Workshop-meetings are offered at Zone Sensible / Parti Poétique and at cneai =. By exploring learning methods through objects, tools, or technical gestures, they will focus particularly on forms of companionship, pedagogical relationships, and camaraderie.
