Jardin botanique alpin de Meyrin
From June 12th to September 12th, as part of ‘Summer in the Garden’ at the Alpine Botanical Garden in Meyrin, Switzerland, there will be a presentation and activation of Yona Friedman’s ‘Museum Without Building’
Following the principles of mobile architecture, studied as early as 1959 by Yona Friedman, the ‘Museum Without Building’ is a structure without doors or walls, open to all, and its modules are constructed in collaboration with passing visitors. Over a hundred hoops are available to be assembled endlessly, creating spaces, appropriating them, and displaying images for anyone who wishes to exhibit for an afternoon.
Continuous reception available upon request from cultural mediators.
Saturday, July 17th, and Saturday, August 17th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Body & Architecture Workshops: Two dynamic mornings to experiment and explore all the possibilities of this structure with your mind and body. Creative warm-up and artistic assemblies. Open to all.
Listen to the podcast of the show « Un musée sans bâtiment s’installe au Jardin botanique alpin » with Sylvie Boulanger.
