6ème édition des Multiple Art Days – MAD

Dates
21.09.10 → 21.09.12

Romainville
The MAD, an annual event centered around the figure of the publisher, offers a three-day overview of contemporary editorial practices, from fanzine publishing to rare works: prints, multiples, books, films, and artists’ records.

Under the artistic direction of Sylvie Boulanger, director of the cneai=, and Michael Woolworth of Atelier Woolworth, MAD invites visitors to discover around a hundred international art publishers and thousands of artworks, along with a program of meetings, performances, and the fifth edition of the ADAGP Revelation Artist’s Book Award.

More than just an exhibition, MAD showcases the figure of the publisher, the most independent and versatile actor in the art scene: 100 international publishers selected for the quality of their proposals in a scenography by Roch Deniau.

For its sixth edition, MAD moves to a new “hub” for contemporary art, a former industrial site completely renovated by the Fondation Fiminco in Romainville, accessible by metro, at the gates of Paris. MAD will present, in a monumental boiler room with a ceiling height of 14 meters and covering 1000 square meters, an overview of contemporary editorial practices, from fanzine publishing to rare works: prints, multiples, books, films, and artists’ records.

If you are a publisher, gallery, or artist, join us to present your artists’ editions from September 10th to 12th, 2021. If you’re an emerging artist and wish to apply for the 6th Revelation Artist’s Book Award, or if you’re a collector, enthusiast, or simply curious, save the dates in your calendar. We look forward to seeing you in September.
