Maison Bleue - Blua Domo
Alice Brygo•Flore Faucheux•Marine Nouvel•Toto le Voyou•
As part of the 2024 season, “Habiter le monde”, cneai = is giving carte blanche to a group of curators from the Sciences et Techniques de l’Exposition master’s program at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. The exhibition Maison Bleue - Blua Domo is based on the cneai = collections and works by four guest artists: Alice Brygo, Flore Faucheux, Marine Nouvel and Toto le Voyou. The exhibition takes as its starting point the imagery of the song San Francisco. Following the lyrics of the song, the exhibition is conceived as a space of the commons, where intimacies are created, exchanged and met in a foyer room.

Since its foundation, the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris has been a place where minds from all over the world meet and share experiences. This community heritage is at the heart of our exhibition, inspired by Maxime Le Forestier’s song “San Francisco”. The cneai = becomes a space of the commons where intimacies are woven, and embodies living-together.
Our proposal chooses the home as the focal point, bringing our Maison Bleue to life. It symbolizes the essence of the commons, a place where residents come together, exchange ideas and build shared memories. It’s in this warm place that we invite you to settle in, become members of the household and grab objects according to your everyday reflexes.
Drawing on plastic works and ephemera collected by cneai =, objects with singular editorial work, the exhibition Maison Bleue - Blua Domo bears witness to these shared experiences. It becomes a living space where community and creativity converge, inviting everyone to contribute.
Taking the rooms of a house as its starting point, the tour begins with a dining room featuring ceramics by Flore Faucheux, shelters designed by Toto le Voyou and creative workshops. Further on, a playroom of ephemera offers the chance to play alone or with others. A film by Alice Brygo, shown in the adjacent lounge, explores the concept of a chosen family and belonging. To conclude this exploration of a universe where intimacy and sharing mingle, Marine Nouvel’s winter garden invites us to escape to new imaginations beyond the walls of this Maison Bleue.
