On September 6, 2025, the new eco-neighborhood built for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games was inaugurated on L’Île-Saint-Denis, an island community located on the Seine in the Seine-Saint-Denis department. At the center of this neighborhood, Place de la Batellerie is a landmark on the island. The Maison Fleuve, the future home of the Cneai, is a place of welcome, hospitality, encounter, and cooperation.

On the morning of Saturday, September 6, 2025, the inauguration ceremony for the eco-neighborhood began at Place de la Batellerie. Elected officials and dignitaries were welcomed at the All Suite Hotel, the only hotel on the island, followed by speeches in the square by:

A convivial gathering took place on the top floor of the Maison Fleuve overlooking Place de la Batellerie, with speeches by Mayor Mohamed Gnabaly, Farid Azid, the building’s architect, and Steven Hearn, president of Cneai =. The Cneai = team had the opportunity to present the upcoming Maison Fleuve project.
