The cneai = in L’Île-Saint-Denis
In 2026, the cneai = Art Center will move into the new eco-friendly riverside neighborhood of L’Île-Saint-Denis, transforming it into a cultural hub at the crossroads of diverse uses and practices. Entitled La Maison Fleuve, the building is designed as a place for cooperation, creation, hospitality, artistic production, and encounters. Its five floors house professional workshops, spaces dedicated to amateur practices, and venues for exhibitions, exchanges, and socializing.
MAISON FLEUVE
The new cultural and artistic project proposed by the cneai = at the Maison Fleuve infuses the territory through various programs, including the Maisons Volantes, which land in schools, and the Maison Monde, which hosts international cooperation projects. By bringing together artists, researchers, residents, and institutions, the Maison Fleuve affirms an approach focused on inclusion, ecological transition, and archipelagic resonance.

TRANSMISSION AND ECONOMIC MODEL
– If you want to develop your economic independence and/or pass on your skills and research, we offer a free classroom space where you can develop workshops as you wish.
– We recommend courses on this basis: €300 per school year (mid-September > mid-June), 1 hour of class per week (excluding school holidays), a group of 10 young people = €250 per month on average = a rental cost of almost €0.
– These workshops for young people (teenagers) and adults also help to infuse practices and skills into society.
A BUILDING RISING FROM THE GROUND
