CLOSING NIGHT, tribute to John Giorno: November 13th, 2020, starting at 6:30 PM, Sound-Design in collaboration with 3iS, a school of audiovisual and cinema located in Bordeaux, Paris, and Lyon, Europe’s first audiovisual campus dedicated to creative industries + John Giorno Projections Welcoming the Flowers (cneai =) // John Giorno / Lek & Sowat (Palais de Tokyo, 2012).

BAG backeryartgallery is both a contemporary art space and a gastronomic laboratory, occupying 500 m2 in the heart of Bordeaux at the Hôtel de la Perle (24 rue du Mirail and 44 rue Saint-François), a remarkable building classified as a historical monument. Established in June 2019, BAG bakeryartgallery combines a range of activities: exhibitions, events, cultural and educational initiatives. The exhibition spaces are united by a café-terrace and an organic gluten-free bakery-patisserie. The laboratory is connected to a project space and soon to a bookstore dedicated to gourmet cuisine and art. Devoted to multiple editions, BAG presents its own editions as well as those from French and foreign publishing houses. Managed by Connaissance de l’art contemporain, a non-profit organization, BAG is the repository of the MULTIPLES collection of the National Center for Art Image Editions (cneai =), responsible for its distribution and commercialization.

The exhibition’s title is derived from a work by John Giorno: “E FAIS LA QUEUE MES COURSES À LA MAIN ET JE VEUX SORTIR SANS INCIDENT – COLLECTIF,” engraving with black printing on Arches laid paper, 120 x 120 cm, cneai = Edition, Chatou, 2005.
