Seine-Saint-Denis
A Beautiful Solidarity Summer in Seine-Saint-Denis,” Simon Nicaise parks his van in various locations—park entrances, parking lots, near markets, or at the foot of buildings—to meet and converse with resident-collectors.
When asked “what do you collect?” there’s often a surprising, unique response—a doorway into each person’s history, passions, and life story.
During each meeting, accompanied by Barbara Laïchi, a documentarian, Simon Nicaise invites you to come and share the story of your “collection” (or an object that holds significance for you). A public presentation of these encounters will take place on Saturday, August 29.
IF YOU WISH TO MEET SIMON NICAISE AND BARBARA LAÏCHI, HERE ARE THE DATES:
IN PANTIN, Friday, July 10, at 4 PM, Avenue de la gare, across from the Pantin train station and the square.
IN ROMAINVILLE, Sunday, July 12, at 4 PM, 47 Rue Jean Jaurès.
IN BAGNOLET, Friday, July 17, at 4 PM, 83 Rue Jules Ferry, across from ALS Peinture Epoxy.
These encounters will be broadcasted throughout the summer on °DUUU Radio.
Action funded by the Seine-Saint-Denis Departmental Council as part of A Beautiful Solidarity Summer and carried out in partnership with *DUUU radio 93.
