Artistique approach
Guy Gabon’s work is resolutely multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary. A pioneer of land art in Guadeloupe, she creates in both natural and urban landscapes to better reflect the new relationships that nourish society. She creates multifaceted artistic experiments in natural and urban landscapes to highlight the imbalances in our consumer society.
Artist’s biography
Guy Gabon graduated from SKEMA Business School in Lille in 1989. After 14 years in finance and management, Guy Gabon changed direction and began studying applied arts and design in Paris. In 2015, she also obtained a degree in filmmaking from Les Ateliers Varan in Paris.
Guy Gabon’s work has been exhibited on numerous occasions since 2012, notably at the Schoelcher Museum in Guadeloupe, the ACTe Memorial in Guadeloupe, the Salon 24Beaubourg, and elsewhere.
