Chedly Atallah was born in Tunis in 1991. He is an artist, architect and scenographer who lives and works between Paris and Tunis.

The artist’s career


Born in 1991 in Tunis, Chedly Atallah is an artist, architect and set designer who lives and works between Paris and Tunis. After studying architecture in Tunis and then Paris, he enrolled at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he forged a strong bond with the sculptor Emmanuel Saulnier. They worked together on a number of projects, including the Alep edition, the Beirut IN-SITU book (published by the Beaux-Arts de Paris) and the Almanach-Les Ides de Mars.


His work has been shown in France (CENTQUATRE-PARIS, Beaux-Arts de Paris, La Maréchalerie, Thaddaeus Ropac), Italy, Colombia, the UK, the Republic of Korea and the USA, Colombia, England, the Czech Republic and Iran. In 2020-21, during his residency at Villa Belleville, he won the Daniel and Nina Carasso x Cité internationale des Arts deParis foundation programme, the Fondation de France prize and the Mondes Nouveaux programme.
